St. VincentSt. Vincent

The first visit that was made by Cru to the beautiful island of St. Vincent and the Grenadines was in February, 2013. A team from Suriname came to cast the vision and meet with different pastors on the island. In September 2013, a group of 34 Surinamese students and volunteers came on a missions trip. They shared the gospel and did discipleship on the St. Vincent & the Grenadines Community College for an entire week. In that week, they also met with different students and also trained them in evangelism and discipleship.
When the team left St. Vincent and the Grenadines that year, they started preparing to send a staff for a short-term international project (STINT). Andoime Seedo, who was a Surinamese staff member, was sent off to St. Vincent to do follow-up with the students they had met during the missions trip. She conducted evangelism and discipleship on the college for 6 months.

In August 2014, Sean Libby and his wife Vanessa replaced Andoime in St. Vincent and continued the Cru Ministry on the college. They also met with other pastors and did Cru presentations in various churches. They have been sharing the gospel on the college using the “Four Spiritual Laws” booklet, the “God Tools App” and “Soularium” picture survey. Sean and Vanessa have been training key volunteers and staff to take over the ministry by 2016. In St. Vincent, there are about 75 students who have been involved in the Cru Ministry.
